“It’ll only be a month… “

It all begins with a (Lyn) idea.

It was Covid season and we were all now allowed out of our homes.

Lockdown meant that you either wanted a bike to exercise but couldn’t find a wheel never mind a bike, or you were spending your time tidying your shed and the garage.

We found an empty shop in Faringdon and hoped the Shed Clearers didn’t meet the bike buyers on their way down to our little shop. Well, they didn’t. We opened our shop four days after getting the key to an empty High Street unit in town. (Thank you, Alex, for your support and generosity!)

“If you build it, they will come.”

And they did. Both the bike donations and many lovely people looking for a bike from our local community.
